Il Castello di Oliveto costruito nel 1424 dalla nobile e prestigiosa famiglia fiorentina dei Pucci, è una fra le più belle ville fortificate della Toscana.

La costruzione, il cui nome deriva dalle numerose coltivazioni di olivo che circondano il Castello, si colloca sulla cima di un colle, ben protetta da fossati, mura e torri.

Molti sono i motivi architettonici di particolare interesse : la merlatura guelfa, i quattro torrioni agli angoli, la torretta dell'orologio, il cortile interno della Villa con l'intonaco a graffite, il loggiato con quattro arcate e la cappella per le funzioni religiose.

Qui si celebra il matrimonio all'aperto nel giardino d'avanti al castello, in uno scenario da favola, con un azzurro cielo di Settembre.

Molti invitati arrivati dagli stati Uniti, da parte della Sposa Elydia, e molti anche gli invitati Italiani da parte dello sposo Marco, il lavoro fotografico svolto è un reportage, e qualche foto più classica scattata sul camminamento esistente su tutto il perimetro delle alte mura da cui si domina tutta la valle.

La cerimonia parte dalla vestizione di Elydia in una camera del castello, e poi prosegue con gli ingressi delle damigelle, dei paggetti, mentre lo sposo attende l'arrivo della sua futura sposa accompagnata dal Padre, per poi proseguire con il lancio del riso baci e abbracci dei parenti, un ricco buffet per poi entrare nella corte dove si svolge la cena e il taglio della torta.

Oliveto Castle built in 1424 by the prestigious and noble Florentine family of Pucci, is one of the most beautiful fortified villas of Tuscany.
The building, whose name derives from the many olive plantations that surround the castle stands on top of a hill, well protected by moats, walls and towers.

There are many architectural motifs of particular interest: the battlement, the four towers at the corners, the clock tower, the courtyard of the Villa with the plaster in graphite, the loggia with four arches and a chapel for religious services.
Here we are celebrating the wedding in the garden in front of the castle, in a stunning setting, with a blue sky in September.
Many guests arrived from the U.S. by the Bride ELYDI, and many Italians also invited by the groom's Mark, the photographic work done is a report and some photos taken on the classic trench around the entire perimeter of the existing high walls from which dominates the entire valley.

The ceremony starts from ELYDI dressing room in the castle, and then continues with the inputs of the slaves, the pageboy, while the groom waits for the arrival of his bride accompanied by her father, and then continue with the launch of rice and kisses hugs from relatives, a rich buffet and thenenter the the court , the place of dinner and cake cutting .
